Purency im LABO Magazin: "Maschinelles Lernen für die Mikroplastikanalytik"
Machine learning and microplastic analysis: How does that fit together? Imaging FTIR spectroscopy is a suitable method to identify and quantify microplastics particles. In addition, machine learning can be used to interpret the obtained spectra of each particle to get more detailed information regarding the microplastics pollution in the environment. Purency wrote an article for LABO - Fit for Lab magazine explaining the differences between machine learning and conventional spectral library searches and introducing the Microplastics Finder.
