Nomination for CEN and CENELEC Standards + Innovation Award

The nominees of the 2021 Standards + Innovation Award by CEN and CENELEC are published. The award acknowledges the important contribution of research and innovation to standardisation and celebrates the contributions of researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs. We are very proud of Purency's Co-Founder Benedikt Hufnagl who has been nominated for 2021 Standards + Innovation award in the category Young Researcher!

Benedikt studied technical chemistry and process engineering at the Technical University of Vienna where he is currently also pursuing his PhD in the field of chemometrics. He is one of the few experts in the data analysis of microplastic measurements. He also has an active role as an ISO-delegate where he is working to develop an international standard for microplastics analysis.
