Bündnis Mikroplastikfrei hosts an info event about Microplastic at the Danube Canal in Vienna
At the Danube Canal in Vienna, the association bündnis mikroplastikfrei hosts an information event to raise awareness about microplastics. Several of the associations partners present their solutions and projects on microplastics. Purency joins as well and introduces the automated data analysis solution for microplastics measurements, the Microplastics Finder.
Guests, such Andreas Fath, Professor of Chemistry from Furtwangen University, who is swimming in the Danube river for his project to collect water samples to analyse for microplastics, are also invited. Furthermore, a press conference takes place on the "Aktionsplan Mikroplastik" from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK).
